Creating Paradise at Home

A July 3rd article on showcases a few Tiki Bars that people built in their own homes. Your own piece of paradise in your home is a great way to relax and unwind after a long day or long week.  Just spending a couple hours forgetting about your troubles with some friends and imagining you are somewhere else really makes a difference.

I really enjoy having a Tiki party in my tiki bar (left) on a January night when the weather outside is below freezing and there is a ton of snow on the ground. I just turn the heat up a little, put on a Hawaiian shirt, mix up some Mai Tais, and quickly what it is like outside.

Your version of paradise might be something different all together.  You need to pick a theme that fits you best.  Your favorite theme could be sports, western, Mediterranean, North Woods or something else.  The point is that you pick something you really like.  Then, collecting things for decoration is all part of the fun.  So, get started on your own paradise today!
